The WICHOZANI NATIVE AMERICAN DANCE & THEATER COMPANY is a Southern California based Native American theater company committed to the accurate portrayal and representation of American Indian culture through music, dance, and drama. "Wichozani" is the Lakota word meaning health or healing and personifies the company's belief that the songs, dances, & stories are healing for the performers, audience, and all people inclusive. The company began performing in 1991 and consists of family, friends, and established artists and presents Native American music, dance, and theatrical stagings.
